When the world is ready to cater to the trauma of every Palestinian over the past 75+ years has had to endure, then I will consider the place name of a restaurant and a non-violent mural in my considerations. But no one seems to care about the PTSD and horrific trauma they carry with them and the oppressive systematic jailing, exclusion and repeatedly punishing them for trying to exist in exile from their homes. They’re extorted and threatened in exchange for visas. Their freedom is always one T word accusation from being ripped from them. You can’t go home and you’re living on eggshells. Your women are assaulted for their religion and men are profiled for their looks. Kids are drug out of homes and separated from their families. How about we consider 75+ years of systematic targeting and traumatizing of those who were forced out. Whose childhoods were drenched in blood and survivors guilt.
