Can lift 60 lbs

Can not lift 60 lbs

Can lift 60 lbs, but won’t

60 lbs is 27 kg for people with free healthcare.

only 27? that’s like half as heavy. y’all have it so easy over there

Ouch, that hurts twice

Ironic. 60lbs is risky for those without free healthcare.

Can’t really lift 60 lbs, but will try

I can, probably quite easily, but would be paranoid about throwing my back out.

I worked in a factory for a bit. HR designated people as “heavies” or not which meant they could lift 50 pounds. No test or medical exam was done to create this distinction. All men were marked heavies and all women weren’t. It was a way for them to discriminate job roles based on gender without saying it.

Sue if you can. Don’t let the scum breathe!

And I sincerely want to fuck both of you.

me last weekend when this trans girl I know on the internet asked me to help her move arcade games. she was like “LIFT!” and i was like “girl I’m trying you should have called someone else 😭”

we did move the games tho 💪

So my body isn’t just permanently injured from being pressured into lifting things at work that I couldn’t lift… I was being misgendered, too??

I fucking love how my dad made me work at a warehouse in middleschool with justification “it will make you grow up stronger.”

Having back pain at 20 is definetely making me feel strong. I should have implicitly known how to use my legs I guess.

Tho it did help me get strong thighs in the end :3

Butch / Femme

Tough Guy / Femboy

The moment I seriously started to wonder about my dad’s ability to assess social situations, he asked me to help with some labor out in a muddy field. I had to point out that I was wearing dress shoes and slacks at the time…

ive never really seen the “can carry items” as a gender thing- or even a clothing thing… peeps in the family are all willing to help and stuff, no matter how heavy ~

I’m the strong one, I’m not nervous
I’m as tough as the crust of the Earth is
I move mountains, I move churches
And I glow, ‘cause I know what my worth is

People ask me to lift heavy stuff regardless of how I’m dressed.

I think this is the most precise gender descriptor for me in existence
