I also use OpenSnitch / LittleSnitch (macOS) to block ip ranges, and telemetry/tracking services.
I think a lot of people would be surprised to know how many CLI apps are making telemetry requests.

I took a peek at that app last week- even obviously AI videos are crushing it with clicks and comments saying āthis is AIā do nothing but increase engagement.
Of course it isnāt. A large number of the population is easily misled by even mediocre AI generated content. Which generates clicks, traffick, and thus revenue (through ads).
Why would a company with the sole priority of generating revenue, care about things like being truthful or legitimate or real, when that doesnāt generate revenue?
Crushed like in an industrial accident? Are you sure they werenāt slammed?

I am truly hoping they were physically crushed only for me to get emotionally crushed when I found out that nobody was crushed in any way.

How are people not even a little bit suspicious when there are tons of errors giving it away as AI in just the first screenshot in the article? Text is wonky, people got demonic faces in the background, the decor is mostly just random shapes, some dudeās arm is straight up going inside his own backā¦
