Calvin and Hobbes in three panels. They are standing in a snowy landscape. Calvin tells Hobbes I like to verb words. Hobbes asks What? Calvin explains I take nouns and adjectives and use them as verbs. Remember when access was a thing? Now it's something you do. It got verbed. Finally Calvin says Verbing weirds language. To which Hobbes replies Maybe we can eventually make language a complete impediment to understanding.

but the knots

by inbosoming the knots
rather than words
we unchain our expression

greatens our ability to speak clearily
makes our speech more meltable
makes it easy to tinker with words
