I am officially able to do traditional art again. I started this one months ago lol I have access to more pencils now too! Enjoy this cute beagle puppy from me 🐶
If you drive far enough down any country road you will eventually find a hundred year old building that is used to store round bales of hay. They get full in the fall as the last bales get moved in and they will be mostly empty by the end of winter.
My kid and I draw together a lot lately, this is our latest collaboration. It’s a boss from Silksong that I was stuck on for a while. He did the room and the colours, I just did the line art for Groal. He really got all the details in there.
Photo of this had the colors changing too much. This version I tinkered with f stop and white level to get it closer, but still a little off. I’m not sure l like how well defined the tree is versus the more abstract-ness of the sky and ground.
This is using acrylic for the black and white, and watercolor from a tube for the green. I’m thinking I need a finer bristle brush.
Comments or recommendations are appreciated.
Saw this on DeviantArt and had to paint it. Here is the original: Storage building. by ThomasHumbert on @DeviantArt

“estresse de baixo nivel que nao tem fim” mixed media abstract painting done using mostly acrylics and screenprinting ink on a few different surfaces (mostly canvas and cold press board) then scanned in and pixel-pushed furiously. The title is Portuguese for ‘low level stress with no end’
Trying to get better at buildings, this is my second practice. Attempting to emulate the style of Martin Lachmair on YouTube. I know not even close but I’m tickled that it came out this well.
It’s the last day of Sharktober!! The little leopard shark from before dressed up as a vampire with their durian fish friend! 🦇
Hope everyone has a nice day and weekend ahead~
There is a YouTuber who makes amazing watercolor buildings and cities. His line work is incredible and he inspired me to give structures a try. This is my first attempt. My mom LOVES lighthouses, so that’s why I started with this.
Another tree? Yup, another. Feel like this might be the last one before the next open air session. I feel like I’ve practiced the skill enough to be able to paint the trees I see now reasonably well enough. No idea what I’ll paint next yet.
I tried to recreate this barely relevant plot device in acrylics because I couldn’t figure out why this painting was significant or who it was painted by.
October 28th - Pumpkin Shark 🎃
My brush experiments continue as I draw and panic because I forgot which brush I used before switching it haha
Also, the little guy is a leopard shark!
There are these trees in the neighborhood that go from green to yellow to orange to red to dark purple with some branches that are light and others the bark is quite dark along with the trunk. They’re gorgeous and this is my attempt at painting one.
I thought a hammerhead shark using a hammer would be funny, so it’s 26th October - Shark blacksmith time! haha
I have decided to skip a few to take better care of my hand, really wanna do the pumpkin one, so wish me luck 🙏
