Painting of an elf warrior of light from Final Fantasy 14 looking at the viewer bewildered. He wears black armour and a silver crown with blue gems. There are three question marks to his right, and he is lit by warm sunlight on a cream-coloured background.
Painting by Jasmint painted in Krita

One layer only.
Why? Good question, I ask myself that sometimes (when I'm not busy staring straight into the sun)

@artshare @gameart Sorry for all the deleted comments ^^;;; still trying to figure out how federation works.
Very cool to see that edits are present on other platforms too, like Lemmy! :D

Fantastic work! What hardware are you using if I may ask?

@wondrous_strange Thank you!! 💖
I use a Huion Kamvas 13. It has a display but nowadays I find myself using it less because it's more comfortable that way - still very useful for line art though!
I paint on a mini PC that runs Garuda Linux. I can give you the full specs of that if you want haha 😊 but nothing fascinating there!

That’d awesome. I was wondering cause I want to switch to a tablet. Was on PC+Linux+paint tool sai + Wacom, now I’m on my phone Samsung s24 which is nice and I really like it that I can draw anywhere I just take my phone out. Considering buying a bigger tablet for the screen size.

Anyway keep up with your beautiful art!

@wondrous_strange Wow you paint on your phone?! That's epic! :D
I can recommend Huion because they have affordable stuff with good quality, and plus you can 3D print the nibs if you have a printer of your own. Some models also support phone connectivity (also depends if your phone supporrts USB3.1 or whatever it was).

All the best with your art as well! ^^
